LocalBiz ("we," "us," or "the app") provides local market research and business plan generation. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in readable form.
Information you provide. When you use LocalBiz, you may enter a location (such as a city or ZIP code) and optionally describe your skills, experience, interests, or business idea. This information is used to generate your research and business plan.
Saved plans. Business plans you choose to save are stored in your account so you can access them later.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. We store only a payment reference identifier and whether a purchase was completed.
Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the app — for example, which steps people complete and where they stop. This includes general information such as device type, browser, approximate region, and pages visited.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers required to operate the app:

We keep your account information and saved plans for as long as your account is active. You can delete any saved plan from within the app at any time.
To delete your entire account and all associated data, open My Saved Plans from the menu and tap Delete my account. This immediately and permanently removes your account and saved plans, and cancels any active membership. You can also email us at the address below with the subject line "Delete My Account" and we will process the request.
Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted using HTTPS, and login sessions use secure cookies. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
LocalBiz is intended for adults starting a business and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Business plans and market research produced by LocalBiz are generated automatically using live web search and should be independently verified before being submitted to a lender or used to make financial decisions. LocalBiz does not provide legal, financial, or investment advice.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
